Mower ('. i, an aged printer lately m the employ of the Inland Printing company, dropped dead on the platform of the Bamberger depot in Kaysville, last night about 9 oclock. Three young men, R. M Abrams, S. W Burton and Kterl Morton, were standing in the waiting room and through the window saw the stricken man fall. Soon T. A. Williams, City Marshall Glen Robins and other citizens were on the scene and the body was carried into the waiting room and placed on a bench, where he expired. Justice of the Peace Frank L. Layton was summoned and after a conference with those present decided to hold an inquest. Doctor W. A. Whitlock examined the remains and pronounced the man dead. The jury which waa impaneled after viewing the remaina returned the following verdict: Kaysville, Utah, Feb. 9, 1921. We, the coroners jury, called this 9th day of February, 1921, at Kaysville, Utah, to investigate the cause ct the death of on C.. B. Mowers, who was found in a dying condition on the platform in front of the waiting room at the Bumberger depot, Kaysville, give as our .opinion and belief that from the evidence offered by competent witnesses, that he came to his death from natural causes. I) B C. A. EPPERSON, ADAM G. FRANK, CHARLES ABRAMS. , From papers found on the body of the dead man it was found that he was a member in good standing of, Kohncton Lodge; No. 498, I. O. O. F., Bath, New York; of the International Typographical Union No. 236 of Ogden, and of the Printers Benefit Association of Albany, New York. On his watch chain he wore the emblem of the Royal Arch Mason and the Knights Templar, but no Masonic receipt for dues was found on bis body. Representatives of the J. O. O. F. of Ogden were notified and came with an auto and removed the remains to Ogden. But little is known concerning the deceased. It seems he has worked as a printer in several of the Ogden printing offices, but was too old to hold down a situation. While in Kaysville he boarded with Mrs. John Morton.
