We now have a weed law in the state to help us in our weed control work, Section 1 of this law follows: Owners and holders of land tp destroy noxious weeds. Every railroad, canal, ditch and water company,' and every person, firm and corporation owning, controlling, or occupying lands in this State, and every county, municipality, irrigation or drainage district having the supervision and control over streets, alleyB, lanes, rights-of-waor other lands, shall cut and destroy all Canada Thistle, Bull "Thistle, Burdock and all other weeds designated by the State Crop PeBt Commission as noxious and injurious to vegetation before such weeds shall propagate or spread and whenever required by the State Crop Pest Com. mission or the County Crop Pest Inspector. The county commissioners, Farm Bureau and State Crops and Pests commission ask the of every farmer, canal company, railroud, etc., in enforcing this law. The good that can be done depends on your united effort. The county crops and pests inspector will at all times be ready and willing to give you any help you may need in this work.
