Two short talks were given by Elmo Richman and Phyllis Mauchicy, A vocal solo, O, How Lovely Was The Morning was given by May Larson and reading by Margaret Roueche. The life of the Prophet was thoughtfully .portrayed by Joseph Rasmussen. The singing xnder the direction of Chorister Clara V. Anderson was appropriate for the occasion. The Sunday school will also render a Christmas program on December 22 4o which all are invited to attend. A special meeting was called tor the members of our ward Monday morning at ten oclock with Elder Albert Smith of the George Counsil of the Twelve, and Stake President D. M Biekmore and his two counselors in attendance. The purpose of the meeting was to install a new bishop as Bishop Johnson had resigned. Eugene Johnson was highly Bishop commended for the splendid work he had done and was given an honorable release as were also his counselors, N. B. Chugg, and Eben Dutson. Apostle Smith gave a very uplifting talk and at the coise or his remarks presented the following names which constitute our B new Nathaniel bishopric, Chugg, Eben Dutson and Albert Zbinden, Mr. Zbinden has been working in the superintendence-of --the Sunday.. School Tor .several years. The pnembprs of the new bishopric each made a few remarks, as did the members of the stake Bishop presidency and Johnson who is retiring.
