Romney and hi Utah Agricultural college gridders returned to Logan Sunday afternoon, from a disastrous invasion of the Colorado Aggie camp. The Logan juarriois were forced from the undefeated column on defeat at the account of a hands of the Colorado Farmers at Fort Collins Saturday. The loss was extremely hard for the Logan team to take in view of the fact that a slim margin of one point separated the two teams As the game ended, Coach oval Romneys warriors, with the were line on Colorado's headed for another touchdown. Although the Aggies realize that their hopes for the conference championship are blasted, they are determined to capture the remaining tilts on their schedule This week they meet Western States Teachers college in the Logan stadium, and the following Saturday they oppose Montana State college here In the feature attraction of Father's and Mothers day celebration the fact that Notwithstanding the Aggies have two more games on their schedule before November 29. enthusiasm for the big turkey day struggle with the Univerair. sity of Utah already is in the conFollowing the Montana State gest, the Farmers will have about two weeks In which to prepare i rd the' with thair great battle Utes. . resume The Fanners daily workouts this afternoon ip preparation for their next Saturday tilt. k Utes o ! Hindenburg yyg v matter of record that no GoV ernor has mode Himself so familiar with the resources and needs of the state, and to do this has visited the remotest hamlets and fra tern ired with their people. It is simple matter of history that no Governor in recent years has traveled less outside of the state of Utah during his administration. His few trips (two in the past year) bei g devoted to the official business of the state i i connection with theColorado River problem and conferences of governors. Notwithstanding the above fact it is a matter of record that Governor Dern has been chosen by the Governors as Director of the Association of all the Governors of the Nation and twice selected as the leader of the Governors of the Western States. It is a matter of common knowledge that no Governor of Utah has been more accessible to every citizen, either in. his office or in the field. The humblest citizen and taxpayer has had his sympathetic ear. He rubbed elbows with the rank and file before he went into office He hjs never forgotten it. i Standing . i . ' , .
