Rigby and Miss and of Mr, Barker, daughter Mrs. William Barker, two prominent young people of our ward, were quietly married in the Logan temple Wednesday, June 14, and left for the rose carnival at Portland, Oregon Thursday morning in company with Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Lindquist in their car. They expect to be gone about three weeks and will return by way of California where they will visit a short time with their sister, Mrs. Leonard, Tuttle who resides there. The young people have the best Wishes of their many friends fori a prosperous future. John Jenkins met with a very; painful accident on Wednes last while unloading some brush to fill in a wash in the creek down by his place, one of the limbs caught and knocked him off the load, he fell on the rocks and gravel in the creek bead striking on the top of his head rendering him unconscious for a time. When he came too he succeeded in making some members of his family hear him and come to his rescuer on examination it was found that one of the bones in his skull wasa fractured. He is now resting as comfortable as possible with his leg in a cast. Frank Griffin who has been hatching while putting in his crops, motored down to Salt Lake last week and returned Monday bringing with him his wife and rome of the smaller children, as the cider girls are attending summer school. Mrs. Nettle Jenkins and family who have been visiting in Bancroft with Mr. and Mrs. Horace Jenkinsfor a short time returned home last week.
