Providence PROVIDENCE Jan. 18- -A - very interesting meeting of the Parents Teachers Association was held at the school house . Thursday. The following pro-- ! was given,, A duet.by Mrs. Maude Graham and A. E. Allen, I)r. Coulter of the U. A. C. then discussed Literature and What It Is. The talk .was instructive $nd highly entertaining and appreciated by those present. A chorus by four of the lady teachers closed the evenings entertainment. The Sea Gull girls of the First ward were entertained last Thursday night at the home of Norma Rinderknecht, by their teach ersldr LebhFiardt and Ruth Zollinger. The time was spent playing games, and listening to musical numbers. Refreshments were served. Mrs, Kate Schiess entertained her sewing Club on Thursday evening of last week. Those present were mesdames Lillian Kendrick Salma and Emma Hammond, Lillie Chugg, Esther Gessel, Annie Nielsen, and Fay Jtanzenberger. Dainty refreshments were served during the evening. The Daughters of the Pioneers of the Elizabeth Math&ws Camp meet at the home of Mrs. Sophia Thorpe on Friday afternoon. Several musical numbers were given and light refreshments were served. A number of her neighbors . called and spent a social evening with Miss Minnie Schmed on Wednesday.
