Show PAGE SIX THE JOURNAL LOGAN CITY, CAJXfEnTOUNlT, UTAH All Residents Of Logan And Cache County Are Invited To Attend This Greatest Of All Mili-- ; tary Inductions r in Impressive ceremonies, which all Logau and Cache Valley have been asked to partici-- , patefc will be held on the campus of the Utah Agricultural College tomorrow forenoon when a unit of the Students Army Training Corps is formally established at the Institution. The ceremonies will be under the joint supervT sion of the educational and mili- tary authorities of the lnstitu-- tion. They will include a big military review, patriotic ad-- 1 dresses, and the presentation of a large new flag, twenty one by ten feet, to the S. A. T. C. by Logan city. t 'The Training Detachment of the College, which will go through military evolutions for the occasion, will be known as the vocational section of the S. A, T. C. after tomorrow. All young men who expect to join the S. A. T. C., even though they have not been formally inducted, are asked to participate in the . exercises. It is expected that over a thousand men win take active part.'- The ceremonies will have an added significance' because they will be conducted in unison with similar exercises to be held in dVer five hundred universities and colleges throughout Ameri - T . stant, as far as is humanly possible, the stars and stripes wil be raised on over five hundra college campuses and one hund red and fifty thousand of the choicest of Americas manhooc will enter the service of Uncle Sam. The services will start at 9:30 a. m. The flag raising will take place promptly at ten, while the , detachment band plays "The Spangled Banner. v The oath of allegiance to the flag will then be read and repeated by the entire command, standing at attention. ' , Inasmuch as the exercises cannot be delayed on any account, if they are to coincide with exercises held at other in-- . stitutions, it is very necessary that all who wish to view the ceremonies be on time. The people of Logan ,and the entire valley are urged to with the college on this occasion and make it one of the biggest events ever held in northern , 1 " Utah.
