The meeting was not held owing to the arbitrary action of the athletic council of the University of Colorado upon insisting that Sam Brinton be barred from , participating in the meet. Coach Mad- dock, though justified in1 declaring off all athletic relations, does not feel so strongly inclined, but he is positive that something like that will happen unless the University of Colorado py the $250 guarantee made in contract between the tw oschools. Coach Maddock stated that he had ful- filled every part of the contract to the letter and that the trouble did not lay on his side, but rather on the side of the arbitrary Colorado athletic council.
