TEMPLES TELEGRAM The performance was enjoyed of course by those acquaint-ed jyith affairs at the big school, but there was plenty of fun. "even for the stranger.- - The most laughable features were the burlesque on Pygmalion and Galatea and the U. A. C. faculty meeting. The latter was a scream. The singing was tuneful and the ballet pleasing, especially so to the bald headed contingent. During the miscre-ant- s male some performance turned a couple, of. live, mice loose on the stage, but the girls simply shattered all traditions to smithereens by capturing the little creatures and carrying them off as trophies Practically every member of the faculty came in for some hot shots from the end men or monologue artists. J The report of the doorkeeper contained some particular juicy .lemons for the A. C. Womans Club, and Dr Thomas was another favorite mark. The program in detail was as follows: 1. 2 Opening Chorus. , Dance Pickanniny Kids. 3 Mrs. is Temples .Telegram farcical spay in three acts written by Frank Whyatt and William Morris, its complications are brought about through the efforts of Jack Temple to convince his wife lhat the nigfyt previous to the beginning of the play he had been imprisoned in a lofty car on the Ferris wheel and compelled to remain there until morning. In reference to the opinion of tfhe Attorney General, which was regarded as somewhat equivocal, the legal advice of the committee is that the County Commissioners have the same authority to divide the new district as they had to consolidate. If seetion 1801, Revised Statutes. 1898, authorizes consolidation their lawyers say it also authorizes division. A strong organization has been effected, money has been and is being raised to make the necessary legal fight. In. the meantime the trustees are being advised by the Committee through its chairman, to refuse to deliver mp school property or surrender management of the schools and to proceed upon the theory that the trustees are still legally in control of the schools. , -- 5 -- get ing up Grant the famous Twirler from Bountiful. Joe Jensen is back in the team, but Capt Dave Wangsgad is out of it for the year. He got spiked in the game with the U. and the wound became infected, causing him much pain aud putting him out of ail sports for this season. Curley Joe will likely take his place at second and Wilcox will assume the eaptainey. . On Saturday afternoon the Aggies will go after the scalps of the Saints. Walkers men have beaten the Salt Bikers once this season, and they are going in to duplicate the feat on Saturday. They too have had some stiff batting practice, and the Coach thinks they have got their ej e on the ball pretty well. 'The game will be on, the B. Y. C. campus and will begin at 2 :30. Now comes the interesting part of this announcement for the youngsters at least COACII WALKER INVITES ALL THE SCHOOL CHILDREN OF THE CITY TO BE IDS CHESTS AT THE Hmps .W. S. Langton. Baseball Dance The Mutuals of the Cache Stake are determined to make their Stake baseball league a go, and to that end have arranged for a big dance in the Atiditorium to morrow evening, the proceeds of which will go into tlie baseball fund. There is little doubt that ball will be well attended for the hall is large enough to accommodate all the Mutual members of the Stake, and most of them are interested in the success of the league. There will be two and perhaps' three teams in Logan, one in Providence and one in Hyde Park. The best of music will be provided for tomorrow evening and the floor is in fine condition. For Decoration Day Memorial day is but a short distance hence, and many monument sa n d h eads to n es will ' no doubt be placed in the cemeteries throughout the valley this year, O. M.
