A smaller run of cattle ast week at the principal markets together with a threatened shortage of short fed. steers, caused buyers to trade more hvelj , and the market Advanced 15 to 25 cents on country grades and fed steers. A string of high class Colorado feeders, 896 pounds, sold today at $4.45, and some 624 pounds Colorado Stockers at $3.80 This is about the range of the fair stuff. Heavier steers sold last week at $3.80 to $4.30, cows and heifers $2.90 to $3.25, though not et . , fully-tested,-bu- lls ls $2.75"to-$3.15;-vea- $6.50. eanners and thin cows $2.40 to $2.90.
