The cultivation should be shallow, unless the ground becomes packed or weedy, when deeper working may be necessary, in order to make the soil mellow and destroy the weeds. It should begin as soon as the plants are large enough and be repeated every ten days until they are in bloom. This will keep the soil loose and mellow and assist in holding the moisture. Level tillage is recommended until the last going over, about the time the potatoes begin to form, when the dirt may be thrown slightly toward the row. Irrigation is tbe most intricate problem in the business and the growers judgment will here be an important factor. The number of irrigations will depend on the season, the kind of soil and the time of planting. A full supply of moisture is needed from the time the potatoes begin to Eet until they are fully developed, at which time the water ehould be shut off for the rest of the season. Every irriga tion should be followed by the cultivator as soon as the ground is dry enough, but if done after the potatoes are set the teeth must be kept at a proper distance front the row. According to Dr. Harlanson the safest and best treatment is to use after each meal a tablet, composed of Diastase, Aseptic, Pepsin, a little Nux. Golden Seal and fruit acids. These tablets can nowbe found at U drug stores under the name of Smarts Dyspepsia .Tablets and not being a patent medicide can be used with perfect safety and assurance that healthy appetite will follow their regular use after meals. Mr. N. J. Boober, of 2710 Dearborn St..Chicago, 111., says: Catarrh is a local condition resulting from a neglected cold in the head, whereby tbe lining membrane of the nose becomes inflamed and the poisonous discharge therefrom passing backward into ., the throat reaches the stomach, thus producing catarrh of the stomach. Medical authorities prescribed for me for three years for catarrh of the stomach without cure but today I am. the happiest of men after using only one box of Stuarts Pyspepsia Tablets. I cannot find appropriate words to express my good feeling. I have flesh, appetite and eound rest from their use. Stuarts Dyspepsia Tablets is the safest as well as the simplest and most convenient remedy Jor any form of indigestion, catarrh of the stomach, biliousness, sour stomach, heartburn and bloating after meals. Send for little book, mailed free, on stomach troubles, by addressing F. A. Stuart Co., Marshall, Mich. The tablets can be found at all drug stores. J. E.
