Of tbee little strangers 20 are 'males and 21 female,?. Thpre have been ten young couples joined in the holy bonds ofmatrimony, and there have been but ten deaths. .This is a rrctrd in which we all feel a just pride, and speaks wcll for the healthfulness of our city. The improvements in our city the past year, both public and by individuals, have been many Our streets, permanent. btidges and city . property have been greatly bettered and bfauti-fiA large number of our citi zens have also greatly improved their private propeity by building new atd repairing old houses.
