Merket wins international scholarship from Marriott Danielle Merket is one of six outstudents standing high school as a named MarriottDECA International Scholarship winner at the DECA International Career Conference held Development in Orlando, Fla. April 26-2- 9 The awards were announced onstage by Marriott International, Inc., representative Andy Chaves, Youth Programs Manager, during the conference's Opening Awards Ceremony. As part of Marriotts dedication to marketing education and students who are interested in careers in marketing, business or hospitality awards management, $1,000 scholarships to DECA members. A student at Uintah High School, Merket was selected based on scholastic standing, active DECA involvement, community service and leadership ability.
