Do you re member how many times you have been annoyed sitting in a picture show dodging first on one side and then on the other of the person sitting directly in front of you as you tried to see the picture on the screen? This difficulty can easily be eliminated by staggering the seats, yet Scera Theatre has the only auditorium in the state of Utah with this seat- ing arrangement. Have you ever noticed when people come to your home for an evening social how everyone rushes to sit in the overstuffed chairs? To sit two or three hours in a theatre and feel rested when its over requires the very best of seating comfort, yet Scera theatre is the only auditorium In the state of Utah that has provided the cushion comfort of spring-fillebacks on the seats. These two Items, at least In part, explain why people drive from all parts of the county In spite of the rubber shortage to attend the Ehows at Scera. Exhibitors may purchase pictures In group lots at a lower unit price than purchasing Individual pictures. The Scera Theatre is among the few theatres in the state who buys only selected pict ures. Of course the cost is higher but we bel' ve that our people appreciate the confidence that they can have that they may always be assured that there is a good picture on the program at the Scera Theatre. Throughout ihe United States this has been one of the outstanding able features found in community theatres where the interest of the patrons come first. d CAPTAIN OF THE CLOUDS" which plays Friday and Saturday played for over 3 weeks in Salt Lake at the Centre and Studio theatres.
