Thompson cz: Lo I uuuu The State highway through Orem is dotted with fruit stands, and hundreds of orchardists are firding ready market for their fruits, now that the fruit season is on in earnest. People from far and near are driving through Orem to get a few cases of the luscious fruit which this district produces. Strawberry season is almost over, but this delicious fruit is still good, and housewives are canning hundreds of cases daily yet. Some sour fruit did result from the heavy and continued rains recently, but the damage was slight compared to the total crop, and many farmers claim the rains did more good than damage. Prices have remained fair, and generally the strawberry season has been favorable. Raspberries and cherries are just coming, on, and will be tops in a week or ten days. Business in Orem is better all along the road, hardly a complaint being heard from any section. Some declare they have more business than they can take care of, and most men feel quite optimistic about the summer trade. This page of advertisements from Orems business men is an invitation to remember your home merchant during the coming summer trade. It will continue during July and August. tess. 4 4 4 444444444 4 Orem Prices EKective June Friday-Saturda- y, bugar Devilled Meat doz. 9c.
