Edgemont Recreation Tlnipanogos, Defending Champion in the girls softball league, is ready to defend their title, accord- elected captain. Timp. will have many of the players back that played on last year's team and aipear to be as st.ong as they were last year. They are holding workouts on the Spencer grounds are showing a lot of enthusi- asm for the coming Beason. It appears they will be able to field three girls teams from Timp this year. Congratulations! Reports indicate the other teams are preparing to give the Timps a run for their money. Vineyard, Edgemont, and Pleas- ant View appear especially strong. Vineyard, lacst Years Men's Title Holders are headed for another banner according to Leland Wells, athletic manager. Verl Anderson, Vineyard's pitcher, was one of the outstanding players in the league last year. He will probably he back to do the chucking for the defending champs. Sharon, Wind- sor, Timpanogos, and Pleasant View will give the title holders plenty of competition. Edgemont, and Lake View are expected to enter teams this year and will come in for their share of upsets. Nothing has been heard from Grand View as yet.
