V PAPER Accountants estimate that the cost of producing 1000 copies of a newspaper Is about 28 cents a column Inch. This paper goes into 1500 homes, so that the cost is something more than 28 cents, say 30 cents, as it would not double even for 2,000 copies. This paper contains four pages of eight columns each or 32 columns of 20 inches to the column or 640 inches, or an actual cost of production of 1192.00. Now If every subscriber paid his 3 cents each week (Yon pay 11.60 a year Into your organization for it) this issue would net us 145, if we got the money. Instead it cost us 1192.00 and therefore, unless the publishers take it on the chin, the advertisers must pay for the entire cost. The simple truth Is that no Voice of Sharon could be published at all without the advertisers' help. They are cooperating with your publishers to put this paper into your homes. If you don't have advertising In this paper, and you still wanted the paper it would cost you nearly 13 cents a copy, or $6 76 a year for your weekly paper Is it worth anything to you to have the Voice of Sharon placed in your mailbox every Thursday morning?
