Attendance at Sacrament meetings has greatly Increased, large audiences having been the rule In most of two the. wards during the last Sundays. We are especially pleased to note that stake ind ward offclers are supporting the sacrament meetings to an extent that they have not done In recent years. "We congratulate the bishoprics of the stake and the ward teachers of the various wards on the fine efforts they are putting forth In these two fields, and trust that the records during the month to follow will be equally as good." A determined drive for Increase In church activity has been under way in Sharon Stake for the past month. Dixie Reese from the Western States Mission, and Richard Bone from the Central States mission, who were speakers a. meetings held In Sharon and Pleasant View wards last Sunday evening. ARNOLD BURNLNGHAM was unjustly accused of being a German sympathizer this past week, all because he was wearing a silver ring purchased from some Arizona Indians, whose emblem Is the "swastika", a true Indian symbol of "good luck. But soma of the boys saw the swastika, and reported that Arnold was flashing a swastika on his finger right In front of his customers. Well, what the boys dont know was that the Indian emblem is the real swastika, but the German design Is a "double cross, with the ends of the crosses turning to the RIGHT (the Indian Swastika turns to the left), and tnls sign Is the symbol of "death.
