Hazel Terry, acting as chairman, presided over the discussion. Lena Lamb gave the opening speech for the adoption of the Amendments. Other talks were given by Omar Hansen, William DeLenna Bradshaw. Hancock, Mary Jean Skinner, and Mable Christenson, in which they gave a clear idea of the constitution were Amendments. Questions asked by both students and parents, and answered in a way to enlighten 11. After the discussion was ended a vote was called. V Y Students Visit Pleasant Grove "Legislators for a day were a number of students from the debating class of Lincoln, Friday Oct. 28th. These students participated in a mock legislative assembly held In the state capitol. Members of the two speech classes attended, but only open Forum students were ac'ually members of the Legislation. Three sessions were held during the day. In each session one or more students represented Lincoln by a speech. Lena Lamb gave a talk before the house on the amendments to the constltuton in regards to education. Madge Lewis spoke in the second session on the proposed minimum wage law for men. Daryl Stewart and Keith Ilebertson represented Lincoln in the final session, on the subject of tax reforms.
