S, Haws of Vale, Oregon, is visiting with her bother, Philo T. Edwards and' mother, Mrs. Mary Edwards. Mrs. Haws is a former resident of Timpan-ogo- g ward. John H. Murdock celebrated his 81th birthday anniversary last .Thursday at his home here, with 22 of- his children and friends being in attendance. On Sunday ?5 of his posterity honored him with a visit, when many beautiful gifts were received.
