The degree of the program depends upon the amount of cash and quantity of goods donated. Without tiie fast offerings, at the preseirt time, we would have no security program. We desire that all members of the, church (and others as well) understand the vital importance of this free-wi- ll offering. It is the very basis and strength of the entire doings of the security program. The general authorities of the church have requested the members to pay AT LEAST out dollar per capita per year. We capitalize the words AT LEAST. There are few indeed who cannot pay one dollar per year, but there are many who can and will pay much more. Ten dollars per year per capita paid by all church members would create a really substantial fund upon which to operate the prog-aIf tl is goal could be attained, poverty would practically be driven front our midst. Such result we hope, will some day be achieved hv the m church. Money is, of course, most needed. However, please remember --that fast offerings in kind will be accepted. The officers in charge of the Security Program are preparing to handle, care for, and properly distribute anything of value which comes into their hands, whether perishable produce, goods, merchIf you canandise,, or livestock. not give cash, then give whatever you feel able to give. At all events, be liberal, open your hearts, trust and support the officeis of the church, and have faith in the entire program, and your donations, either large or small, cash or things of value, will be used for the highest of God's purposes the good of those in need.
