The young couple will visit in Califor nia, after which they will go to Montana to make their home. Mrs. David Burgi has returned to her home in Manti, after spending the greater part of the summer with Amelia Latta. ILA M. GADD, The following boys have graduated from primary this month, and have been ordained deacons: Leland Eastman, Heber Ivins and Dean Phillips. The girls of the M. I . A- enjoyed! an outing at Conrad's ranch in Provo canyon during the month. Forty-fiv- e girls were present and the entile day was filled with activity. Breakfast was served in the canyon, and games were played until dinner was prepared The girls returned late at night, tired but happy. The officers and teachers of the V. L. M. I. A. accompanied the group. Venna Allman and Marjorie Olsen and their class leader, Edith Muelstein, were in Logan last week to participate in club state demonstration,' apd were awarded a medal for wining first place in the contest. As a team, the two girls won second place in judging. All of the club group are busy preparing exhibits for the county fair. Mr. and Mrs. Earl C. Robinson are at home after spending the summer in Echo canyon. Mr. Robinson will spend a month here before returning, and Hrs. Robinson will make her home here. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eastman and family are at home. They spent the summer in Rock canyon at their ranch. Jess Ashton has returned from Wyo ming, where he has been working for the p!fst several months. Mrs. T. J. Lewis went to Lehi on business last week. Mrs. Jarman of Wyoming his been the house guest of J. V. Fords, and is at present visiting in Salt Lake. Fair days are here again, and Lyman Rich, county agricultural agent, and all who have assisted him, are to be congratulated on this successful county ' fair. Sunshine club spent a day at Conrads ranch. Games, hiking and r outdoor stunts were enjoyed. ' A roast was the big event of the day. Members present were Lenora Ashton, Ruth Ekins, Nedra Lewis, Katherine Passey, Marjorie Olen, Venna Allman and the leaders, Leola Work man' and Edith Muhlcstcin. The scouts have been on a two-da- y hike and report having had a delightful time. Mrs. Arlington Snow has been visiting a few days in alt Lake. The opening social of the M. I. A was very successful.
