High game: Doug Tollis, 212; high three game series 545. s Another outstanding attraction of the first annual Notre Dame School carnival, September 26, 27 and 28 will be the awarding of the two footballs which have been personally autographed by the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame at South Bend, Indiana. These unusual items were presented to the carnival committee by Dick Shul-se- n of Salt Lake City and will be presented during the three days of the carnival. Tickets for these balls will be sold at the carnival. Booths will open at 6:30, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The dinner will be served between the hours of 6:30 and 8 Thursday evening in the cafeteria. There will bea matinee for . the children Friday afternoon at2. There will be out-dopony rides on the school grounds for the chib dren Friday and Saturday nights. A program will be presented Friday night in which the six girls running for queen will participate. Tickets for the dance may be purchased at the door of the audi y torium Saturday night. Judging from her smile, Doris Holloway is pleased with the latest addition, James Eugene, to the Holloway family. The Holloways have been here a little over three years and James Eugene is the third addition to the family. All of the Holloway children have come to Dragerton via the Utah Permanente-hospita- l. The community will suffer a great loss when, the Holloways leave this area for. Salt Lake City at the end of this month. Dr. Holloway will resume his studies and will specialize in the department of anesthesiology. We are indeed sorry to lose Dr. Holloway and his charming famisome ly, however, we hope that day they will be back. The play has a large cast, directed by Elmo Geary of Carbon College. Heading the cast is Harold Bithell, an accomplished actor of many years experience, who portrays the difficult role as "the man' who came' tsnlinnefSh!! T. dan Whiteside. Horsley Honored for Telephone Service Philip B. Horsley, m,anager in Price for the Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph Company, rplehrated 30 years service with the company September 1. His fellow workers honored him with a luncheon at the Carbon Country club Tuesday, September 3, at which time he was presented with a service emblem, denoting his years of service, by E. C. and general Aabergi manager. Mr. Horsley is a native of Price, he received his education at Carbon schools and Utah State University at Logan. He tyegan his career in the telephone business in 1927 as an installer arid lineman.
