Of the 2,934 votes cast, 2308 were for the proposition and only 626 votes were cast against the bond issue. Only four precincts in the county cast majority votes against the bond issue. These- were West Helper, Northwest - Helper, Latuda and Spring Glen. At Scofield and Clear Creek the fors and against cast the same number of votes. At Royal not a single dissenting vote, was cast. The acceptance of this proposal raises the school districts bonded indebtedness to $3,395,000. Indebtedness ,of $565,000 exists on the 1951 $1,080,000 bond issue which saw the construction of the Dur-raand Petersen schools and additions at other buildings in the county. The district has on hand in the sinking fund $105,000 which will go toward redemption of the 1951 bond issue.
