But there can be no difference as to one matter the cost is. tremendous, and it becomes even heavier. According to Insurance Economics Surveys, the national income increased by 79 per cent between 1945 and 1955. But in that same period social welfare expenditures by all levels of government rose 400 per cent from $4 billion to some $21 billion. The department said current weather and snow conditions should aid the trapping and tagging program now being conducted in several areas. Many deer have already been taggd and releasd as has - been accented this year through the use of the more easily handled single deer traps. Deer are more readily baited into the traps when the snow covers much of the forage and moves the animals into conetrated areas. Purpose of the trapping program is to gain more positive information concerning where several of the states herds range during the open months. This information is important in setting the type hunts that will keep the animas in balance with available winter range which is in short supply in comparison to the more abundant summer and fall forage. Returns by sportsmen of tags taken from animals harvested during the fall seasons forms the final step in this inforamtion and management program. m Fast Courteous Service Utahs Deer Herds Have Wintered Well , , and Building Lumber Price, Utah TeL & TeL Service 56 N. 1st West Phone 16 .
