Student Nurse This week is the first anniversary of TV in the East Carbon hrea. Just one year ago this week we watched the World Series from TV sets'set up under tents in the park in Sunnyside. Today there are 1,000 sets already to bring the series in all its thrills and suspense to the entire area. This because one man had the vision and the courage to install an expensive cable system. Mary Ann Larson visited the past week end with her parents in Dragerton. Mary Ann is entering the St. Marks school of nursing. She will be a student at St. Marks for three years. She is a graduate of Carbon . High. She was awarded the Utah Ladies of Elks Scholarship for $25, the Carbon County Medical Auxiliary Scholarship for $100 and recently the Bamburger Scholarship for $450.
