Galbreath and company staed today that the cullinary water supply for Drager-to- n is being expended at the rate of 565,000 gallons daily. Water from the springs is pouring into the upper reservoir at a rate of 185,000 gallons daily. However, 750,000 gallons are being drained from the lower reservoir each day to meet the demands of the people of Dragerton. This means that the avail ble wa- ter supply is being expended at a daily 1 The u t of e tnt 565,000 gallons. need to conserve water cannot be stressed too much, said Mr. Poglajen. We are entering a period of lower water supply from the springs. Studies made reveal that the supply from the spring this year is already 40,000 gallons per day lower than during the month of August last year. If the sanfe trend is followed, as in previous years, the water supply from the springs can be expected to drop off by 50 per cent during the months of September and October. This means that unless each and everyone of us do our part to comply with water restrictions and avoid waste, we will be faced . wih an extremely severe water shortage. -- Carlyle F.
