Snow as pros! dent of Utah Foundation, effective January, 1st, 1956' was annuonced today following balloting by members of the Foundation Board of Trustees. Also elected" to office were Ronald , W. Wadsworth of Ogden who succeeds O. H. 'King of Provo 'as first vice president, and F. V, Nichols "of Provo who succeeds J. Fletcher, Scowcroft of Ogden as second vice president of the Foundation. Mr. Price is vice president and general manager of the Salt Lake Hardware Co. He is a .former president of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the state advisory board for the unemployment com pensation program. Mr, Wadsworth is general manager . of the California Packing Corporation at Ogden and a former president of the Utah Man ufacturers Association. Mr. Nich ols is vice president of the First Security Bank of Utah at Provo. This is the first election of new officers since Utah Foundation was organized as a private nonprofit tax research agency in September of 1945. . John M. Wallace, president of the Walker Bank & Trust Co., will continue to serve as secretary treasurer with the organization. Under the leadership of Mr. Snow, who with the other original officers was elected to ten succes sive years of service ,Utah Foun dation ,has achieved a unique status .among private taxpayer-sup-porte- d tax research and public information agencies. Utah Foun dation monthly research reports ' are .widely used by public, officials, legislators and official committees, as well as by press, radio, and the general 'public.
