Cr'' You are an American yet have you noticed that "General Douglas MacArthur appears to be having more trouble trying to keep out of being a candidate for President than some have had trying to get their names on the ballot? If MacArthur should get that pob his administration would be one that every American could be proud. To you Americans we present a portion of his Farewell to the Rainbow Division delivered in The Dragerton Elementary Parents & Teachers Association, is Fair; to be sponsoring a Carnival ' 1 in the Dragerton held April school. Mrs. Vernon Lund, Mrs. Robert V. Bowen, and Mrs. Julius Ross-ma- n committee in charge of affairs have planned an enjoyable evening 'for parents and children alike. Home made pie, cake and candy donated by the parents will be for sale in the food department. ' A fish pond and many other games will offer fun plus many wonderful prizes. Noth the least of the excitement will be a side show replete with a glass eater, iSamese twins and many other mistakes of Mother Nature. Mrs. Louiese Lauriski has graciously consented to present some of her students in review. The Teachers, though pressed for time, are planning exhibits in their class rooms and they will be on hand to greet and talk with the parents. Proceeds fron the affair are to be used to aid the teachers in their music department. These facilities are sadly lacking at the present time. May we extend to all a warm invitation to join us at 6:30 p. m. on April 11, for an evening of entertainment and opportunity of visiting the school where your child gains the fundamentals of an education. used-to-b- Boys and girls of the East Carbon Junior High art classes busily working on projects that will be shown at the art exhibit at Dragerton Junior High Library.
