Deadline Nears For Payment of 1951 County Property Tax If you havent alread-y- paid your 1951 tax you had better begin thinking about them cause the deadline is November 30, two weeks from this coming Friday. You will not only get under the wire and avoid paying penalties but you will also avoid the last minute rush if you get into the treasurers office before that date. The 1951 taxes became due on September 17, the date the notices were mailed out, and they become delinquent at 12:00 oclock noon on November 30. If not paid on or before that date a penalty equal to two per cent of the amount of the tax will be added. Also after that date at 12:00 noon an advertising fee of 25 cents will be assessed oneach notice.
