Easfern Ufah Electric PRICE, UTAH Local Kiwanians fo The Candidate tho Thomnsites Fear Attend Mooting At Grand Canyon I The Kiwanis club of Sunnyside will be representeed at the 1950 Kiconvention of the Utah-Idawanis district to be held September 10 to 12 at the Grand Canyon lodge on the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Club President Tom Mahon announced today. More than 40 clubs, comprising a membership of 2,400 business and professional leaders, are expected to send delegates to the three-da- y meeting, Mr. Mahon said. Don H. Murdoch,- prominent Winnipeeg, Manitoba, business leader and president of Kiwanis International, will deliver the address during the principal three-da- y meeting. Presiding at the convention will be. Herman W. McCune, Nephl, merchant and governor .of the Utah-Idah- o district. Committee conferences, panel discussions, and election of officers for the coming year will-- be convention ' highlights. President Murdoch, a member of the Board of Trustees of Kiwanis International since 1946, is expected to discuss national and international affairs and to stress continued cooperation between the United States and Canada on problems of mutual welfare, Mr. Mahon said. A director of the Senior Board of Trade of Winnipeg and of the Canadian Research of Launderers and Cleaners, Mr. Murdoch also is chairman of the Association, of Launders,.
