The Utah Exposition shows have mad the necessary arrangements prior to setting up their carnival on the ball park back of the Dragerton school. Things will be ready August 10 and the carnival will be inDragerton for a week. Bill Farrar, who represents the company, is here putting up the advertisements now. Mrs. Ed Whisenant reports that her sister, Mrs. Fae Palmer, who has been spending the past five weeks with her, is returning to Little Rock this week-en- d. Mrs. Albert Schults of Edgehill place, and Miss Lucille Patterson, who has spent the past six weeks in the Schults home, left Dragerton Tuesday evening for Pittsburgh, Pa., where Miss Patterson will begin her plans for teaching the coming year, and Mrs. Schults will visit her parents. The Kaiser mine isnt working full time because the plant gt Fontana, California, where most of the coke is shipped, is under going repairs. The miners are only working half days. Miss Pauline Poglajen of Columbia and Mrs. William Bradley of Price visited with Mrs. Mark Tratos in Salt Lake City last week. Eleven boys and girls, including Rev. Tom Constance and wife, returned from the youth conference last Friday evening. The Sunday evening service in the Dragerton Community church was tumei over to the young people who made the trip, and the tune was devoted to reporting on the conference. Urban of Dragerton attended a family reunion at the home of Mr. Urbans brother, Mr. J. T. Urban at Lagumtas, California, the last week end of August. This is the first time the family of seven brothers and three sisters has been together since they were children, which is close to memforty years. Twenty-eigbers of the immediate family were present at the Sunday dinner. The ten cabins built in upper Sunnyslde by the Utah Fuel company are now completed and be'ng occupied. Charles Wright, who has spent most of the summer in Dragerton assisting in the work of the Community church, is leaving for a visit with his parents before school in September.
