Laurels are coming to it thick and fast in the line of recognition of its eminent faculty and in recognition of its graduates who, especially in State and federal sendee, having made State-buildin- g. the College at Logan famous. The courses of study at the State College include Agriculture in all its phases. Home Economics, Agricultural Engineering (the course which was es- tablished this year for the first time and which has attracted attention throughout the west). Commerce and General Science and Mechanic Arts Degrees are given in all these courses with the exception of Mechanic Aits, where a certificate is given for the completion of the work. The Winter Courses where the practical farmers, housewives, business men, and trndes-me- n of the state meet each winter to exchange ideas and to get the latest in the science relating to their business, will begin immediately after the holidays. This year there will be a state-wid- e migration by the busy people of the state to the institution at Logan to take advantage of this rare opportunity. These courses last only a short time in order not to interfere with the home work of the people who attend. CHANGING TO MEET THE PEOPLES NEED. In an age of vigorous, thoughtful change, the agricultural college is leading. Among its newest innovations is the establishment of a tourie in agricultural ergimsring which has been ronounccd by government i to be the specific need r the west in its work.
