They are asking a one dollar donation for each ticket. Anyone that would like to sell tickets is urged to call Betty Winfield 5 at or contact a member of the committee. Prizes to be awarded at the raffle are a 12 inch black and white television donated by Safeway in Evanston, a five piece luggage set donated by Smiths Food and Drug in Evanston, and a hand-mad- e baby quilt also donated. The drawing will be held February 24 at the last home South Rich basketball game. You need not be present at the drawing to win. The raffle tickets were printed at a discount by A & D Printing. Garden City Views By Bess Huefner Maria Wolfley is teaching Spanish to the North Rich Elemen- tary students. She is originally from Mexico and the students are enjoying the new language. Volunteers once again helped unload the deer pellets at Murphys Car Wash Thursday, January 26. Thanks to all those who helped. Your money was well spent if you made it to the North Rich South Summit game Friday, January 27. The North Rich J.V. team kept up with the Wildcats the first half of their game but brought in a loss at 37 to 50. The varsity team kept us on the edge of our seats as they put down the Varsity Wildcats 57 to 51. The Bear Lake Ward Girls Volleyball team beat the Paris teams The Tuesday January 24, 1984. Paris, Idaho Stake Playoffs will be this Saturday, February 4 in the Paris Middle School. The National PTA Ruth Smith Reflections contest is open to students from grade one to twelve. The theme of this years contest is I have a Dream. All entries must be the original work of the students. The divisions are: Visual Arts, Literature and Music. Mrs. J-B- ar J-B- ar Matthews reported a gas theft at the Pickleville Store. Someone filled their car and then left without paying for the gas.
