GEORGE, CTAII HURRICANE Allie Wilson, Laura Ford, Reporters Announce Engagement The Hurricane Harmonettei returned Saturday evening from a four day thrilling trip to Salt Lake City, Brigham City and Honeyville. Gordon Owen, emcee, when announcing the program, said that the were prepared to play until nine o'clock if people desired them to stay. While they were waiting for the program to begin, Mr. Eugene Jelcsmk, who has his talent scout program every Sunday, recognized Mrs. Ford, who had been on a program with the DUP Band. He immediately invited them to appear on his show. So he made arrangements for the group to return the next morning to KSL Studios, where they were taped for his show. They will be seen on the Talent Scout program Sunday, May 11 Miss Facer is a student of Utah State University at Logan. The Senior Citizens enjoyed a lovely hour of entertainment, with Bishop J. R. Madsen, his lovely wife, Mavis, and his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Madsen, all of Spring dale. Very touching services were held at the funeral home for tiny Jacqueline Dianne Bradford, daughter of Judy (Hansen) and Jack Brailsford. They received a standing ovation from the large enthusiastic group of ladies. They returned to Salt Lake City the following day, a tired but happy group. We hope people in the Dixie area will send a vote in to the Eugene Jelesnik Talent Scout program, in care of KSL-Tsta tion, Salt Lake City, Utah, the day after we appear May 18. Visiting over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Paxton, was their daughter, Cioree, husband, Budd Collette and family from Las Vegas, Nev. Bud is a photographer, and was in Hurricane taking aerial pictures of a trailer court site at Anderson Junction for Bruce Church.
