Dixie barely beat Kanab on the home floor in its first game of the and will have to be season, 59-5at their peak to repeat without the home-floadvantage. Although Dixie beat Enterprise by eight points, the game was much closer than the score indi cates. The Wolves caught and passed the Flyers in the third quarter, score at its end was 44-4-5 for Enterprise. Only excellent ball handling by Sam Sampson, the hustle of McArthur and Milne, and the shooting and rebounding of Roland Miles saved the day. Sampson ended the game with 19 points, Miles got 15, and Hunt and Andrus had ten each. Both Banks and Palmer of Enterprise fouled out in the first of the fourth quarter, thus making Dixies win easier to achieve. ' In the Saturday game with Virgin Valley Dixie beat the Bulldogs easily but could have looked better. The reserves played much of the game. Sampson was high with 15 points, followed by Hunt with 11. ) Plaintiff, ) CREIGHTON L.
