Listened to a petition presented by the Wendover School Community Council to be presented on their behalf to the State Board of Education requesting funds from the state for the purpose of building an elementary school in Wendover, Utah. 14. Accepted the proposal on maintenance and purchasing and asked Superintendent Gurney to come back to the board with some specific items which deal with the recommendations I I Appcorrd presented. 15. Reviewed the items of information. 16. Added an emergency item 17.0 Special Board Meeting to the agenda. Discussed board member concerns. 17. Approved that a special meeting be held for the purpose of meeting with the Elko County Board of Education to discuss the educational program at Wendover.
