He was bom Sept. 10, 1919, a son of Robert and Edith Penney McNeil. lie married Evelyn Dustin. They were later divorced. He had retired from the U.S. Army and the Tooele Army Depot, and had lived in Logan, Tooele and Salt Lake City. Surviving are a son, Melvin Robert McNeil, Jr.; six grandchildren; a brother and three sisters, Archie McNeil, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Leona Balls, Hyde Park; Mrs. Leo (Erma) Barfuss, Logna, and Mrs. Willis (Vivian) Sheen, Smithfield. Funeral services will lie Thursday at noon in the Hall Mortuary chapel, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
