This is a Tooele Grunty celebration sjxinsored by the Tooele Chamber of Commerce on August 1 1 through August 22 that has anything you ever wanted to w atch or part icfpate in. It was created in the patten) of other Utah counties who have Strawlierry Days, Onion Days, Blatk and White Days, and so forth. But with all the famous landmarks that Tooele Comity has tooffer, "landmark Days" was the official name given to this celebration. It also holds within its boundaries the Tooele County Fair. At this time, there is a tremendous effort lieing made to put the county back into the county fair. Not to lie confusing, the Tooele County, supported by Tooele County, is encompassed by landmark Days. NOW, BACK to the original question. What can Landmark Days do for you? It can bring you and your family once a year to see those people from other parts of the county thut you just haven't had time to visit. It can provide for you almost any type of entertainbike ment you want. Golf, tennis, bike races, tours, professional rodeo, horseshoes, singing, dancing, contests in writing poetry and short stories, and comedy. There will lie exhibits of anything under the sun as and many interested artists will provide to let you know what pmjects they have liecn busily working on all year. There w ill lie food concessions for your convenience so you can come and spend the entire day at the fair. There will lie money to lie made in the comjie-titio- n judging at the fair and also a way of making money provided in the new Country Store. THERE WILL lie history and heritage displayed at the Heritage Museum. Parades with floats, bands, horses and bikes.
