The girls Region IX tennis tournament was played at Wasatch High Monday, Oct. 9, and the were Crantsville girls ready for the challenge. They handled their oppo-nents from the other schools to win the Region title. The JVs play at 5:45 and the Varsity at 7:00 p.m. matches ended, Jennifer Williams and Vicki Pershall placed first in the No. One Doubles, and Staci Callister and Denise Yates took a first in No. Two Doubles, and the Region title belonged outright to the Crantsville Cirls Tennis Team.
