The filling, a creamy gelatin mixture, nestles between a crunchy top and bottom crust made with sauteed Bakers Angel Flake Coconut. The combinad honey-flavore- tion of the two textures makes for one most compatible . dessert-sandwich- Honey Crunch l'i cups (about) flaked U 1 cup boiling water cup honey 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 cup evaporated milk, chilled 1 coconut Vi cup butter lVi cups crisp whole wheat flakes, slightly crushed 1 package (3 oz.) orange flavor gelatin Vi Saute coconut in butter until golden brown, stirring constantly. Combine coconut with cereal; mix well. Press half of mixture in bottom of a square pan. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add honey and lemon juice. Chill until slightly thickened. Whip evaporated milk and fold into gelatin mixture. Pour into prepared pan; top with remaining cereal mixture. Chill until firm. Cut into squares. Makes 9 T A servings. --! A yellow pamphlet in the new rainbow" series, Nursing Scholarships and Nursing Student Loans, Publication 1 154-- 4, will interest high school including practical graduates nurses who need help to enter or remain in nursing school. Scholarship aid for a nursing student of exceptional need is now authorized up to $1,500 a year. Loans repayable over a period at three percent interest have also been increased to a maximum of $1,500 a year per student Moreover, nurses may avail themselves of the following cancellation benefits: the entire sum of a loan plus interest may be canceled at the rate of 15 percent a year for e employment in a hoshas a substantial shortthat pital age of nurses; or,' 50 percent of a loan plus interest may be canceled at the rate of 10 percent eme for each year of ployment in a nonprofit institution or agency.
