The Unit remained in France for two years, until June 1946, serving in the Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland Campaigns. Effective June 25, 1946, the 64th was inactivated, redesignated HQ and HQ Company, 449th QM, Base Depot, and alloted to the organized Reserve Corps.
