Douglas York of Payson reported spotting the wreck while horseback riding in the area Monday. Mr. York said the plane was almost covered with snow but he saw the cockpit and tail section. Sheriff Gillette said the plane had crashed into the mountain and burned, taking the lives of William Dale Jarvis and Richard G. Beardsley in 1964.
