A ring such as this deserve, festive treatment, so bring out thej J good china and your silver service. 4 Yeast Risen Graham Nut Ring 1 cup butter 3 cups Sunshine Graham 2 eggs, lightly beaten Cracker Crumbs 2 packages active dried yeast 4 cups sifted flour 2 cups chopped pecans Vi cup warm, not hot, water 1 teaspoon ground allspice 1 cup milk, scalded 1 cup seedless raisins cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt and Measure crumbs into portions; set aside. Dissolve yeast in water. In a large bowl mix milk, Vi cup sugar, salt, and Vi cup butter that has been melted and cooled. Stir in eggs and yeast. Stir and beat in flour and the portion of the crumbs; beat until smooth and elastic. Cover loosely and let rise in warm place, free of drafts, until double in bulk (about 1 Vi to 2 hours). Combine pecans, the portion of crumbs, remaining sugar and allspice. Set aside. When dough has doubled, beat down and stir in raisins. Pinch off dough and form into balls about to 2 inches in diameter. Roll balls in melted mixture. and cooled remaining butter. Roll again in pecan-crumPlace and pile up in a greased tube pan. If any crumb mixture is left, sprinkle over top. Drizzle with any remaining butter. Cover loosely and let rise again until about doubled (about 45 minutes to an hour). When doubled, bake in preheated moderately hot oven (350) for about 50 minutes or until ring shrinks from sides of pan. Let cool in pan on rack for about 20 minutes. Then carefully lift off sides of pan and let ring finish cooling on rack without separating it from the bottom of the pan. When fully cooled, remove the bottom. Slice to serve.
