During the summer the city does not enforce the nde in order to accommodate home owners who may have over-nigguests with cars.,But during the winter months it is Important that the streets be kept clear. One reason is to allow for adequate snow removal during the early morning ' hours. The Citv ordinance states that with the exception of physicians on emergency calls, no person shall park a vehicle on any street for a period longer than thirty minutes between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. of any day. BOTH JORDAN and Tooele have found the going extremely rough this year, and after eight games neither team has been able to gamer a victory. So if the game doesn't end in a tie, at least one of the winless elevens will le able to erase some of the sting of a disastrous season, and will end the year on a happy note a victory. The loser will have sole claim to the basement of Region Three. The game has a special significance for both teams, since former Tooele football coach Dean Stringhain, after a year absence from the coaching ranks is 'now the head mentor at Jordan. It goes without saying that coach String-hawants a win over the purple and white, and vice versa. Tooeles coach Dave Bray has found his first year in the coaching business an extremely disappointing one. Loser of eight straight, same as Jordan, the Buffs hard working coach has tried everything but running the scoreboard, and has yet to come even close to a win. These catastro-phie- s may be a little exaggerated hut they serve to xint out that most women lack one of the essentials of good makeup application an adequate mirror. You can have the best cosmetics money can buy, but they won't do you any good unless you put them on correctly. And you cant apply cosmetics correctly unless you have proper lighting and an overall view of your face. A solution to misplaced makeup is a dramatically different (look, look, look.) lighted portable mirror, which has been introduced by Saunda. Inc., Chicago, originators of the famed beauty mist machines. Called the "Saunda Vanity, the new cosmetic aid consists of four optically perfect mirrors in an attractive ivory and bamboo-colore- d case. The cpnter mirror provides normal reflection or it swivels to a magnifier great for eyebrow plucking while the side mirrors give profile views. On each side of the center mir-o- r are recessed lights which provide shadow - and gla re free illumination. If you have had bad exxr-ience- s with poorly lighted hotel mirrors, youll really appreciate the new mirror for traveling. The cord for the light bulbs is stored between the center mirror hack. But, when it comes to cooking the game thats another story. Actually, the myth that wild game needs complicated cooking is just that another myth. According to L. W. Bill Johnson, a lifetime outdoorsman whos been collecting and testing wild game recipes 50 years, you can prepare game meals as simply as time permits. Tangy, tasty Grouse with Orange Slices, for instance, takes just half an hour; but you might prefer becoming immersed in all the exotic details of Partridge in Wine Sauce on squares of puff paste. These dishes are as much fun for the family as they are for the chef since they provide an unusually delicious diversion from the routine round of table fare. Mr. Johnson, who has his own television show on WSAU-Tin Wausau, Wisconsin, found out just how popular wild game cooking really is when he conducted a recipe contest recently that brought in more than 4,000 entries in various categories. Four hundred of the best of these recipes are now included in his new book, the Remington Wild Game g ideas that also contains advice on special sauces, stuffings, and Cookbook a volume of relishes, and on dressing and shipping game. The book is available at sporting goods dealers, and can also be obtained by sending $1.95 to Wild Game Cookbook, Box 206, Fairfield, Connecticut 06430. Once youve cooked game, youll see how really easy it is. Come hunting season, you, too, can switch from those tired family staples to exciting gourmet treats like Venison Stroganoff.
