Goldie Carver and her brother Dennis Hale have returned from a recent two week vacation that took the two by plane to San Francisco where they visited with relatives and friends in the area. They report an enjoyable time visiting with Goldies children, Charles Carver and his family who live in Freemont and Mary Newn-haand her family who live in Orinda. After visiting in the San Francisco area, the twosome flew South to Los Angeles and thereabouts and visited with Alpha Lindgren in Pamona. They visited with Fannie Anderson from Crantsville, who was visiting at the Lindgren home as well. They had a nice visit with their sister, Mrs. Phebe Swenson in Painona and with Joy Lemkin and her family in Fullerton. They spent a short time visiting with a nephew Don Hale and his family in Long Beach before motoring home with students in Southern California who are attending BYU. At the clinic the teeth of 277 children were examined and 228 of these were found to be in need of dental care. According to Leona G. Long, County Public Health Nurse, a second clinic was held January 23 at Grantsville High School. Only 33 children appeared for an examination and this time, but 29 were found to need dental care. ENTERTAIN GUESTS Mignon and Grant Christley have been entertaining a house guest, Mr. Walter Patino, from Lima, Peru, before Mr. Patino went down to Provo where he has enrolled for school at BYU. Mr. Patino, who is 17, has left his home in Peru to attend school at Provo where he will stay until he completes his education.
