NOTICE Happy birthday to Robert and Randy Jorgensen Vor-wall- Transcontinental traffic continues to complicate Tooele County's traffic safety problem. Rumored promises to improve the Mills Junction intersection have not materialized despite the recent crash that killed two Tooele residents. Construction procedures in the vicinity of Black Rock seem to be creating as many traffic safety problems as they are attempting to solve. Unfortunately many of the accidents both fatal and otherwise, involve out of state people that are not familiar with Tooele Countys roads. Some measures to improve safety at Mills Junction and along U. S. 40 cannot wait until the completion of the Interstate highway if lives are to be saved. Rev. Tanner Departs of Reverend and Mrs. Russell the With departure Tanner for a new pastorate in Colorado, Tooele loses a couple who have proved themselves ardent workers for good. Under Reverend Tanners direction the Tooele Community Methodist Church has made sizable gains in membership as the community has grown and has recently completed a successful drive to begin construction of a much needed addition to their building. No less important has been the inauguration of lay speakers in the Methodist Church services both in Tooele and Eureka. As both Everend and Mrs. Tanner call Colorado their home, their return to old friends and familiar surroundings should be welcome to them but they should know that they leave many friends behind in Tooele. Their fine works and deeds will live long in the Tooele, Area.
