JOHNS SEELEY School at TIIS Student Wins Math Hunter College Scholarship To Attend The National Science Foundation haa granted a six weeks scholarship for study at Hunter College to Bert J. Johns. Mr. Johns will leave here June 15 via air for New York City. While attending college he will be a guest of Dr. Clay, a friend of the Johns family, and a member of the faculty at Hunter. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Johns, of 364 West First North young Bert will study in the field of psychology. He is a senior at Tooele High School and was one of 30 students to be selected from the United States for this honor. Fred L. Seeley will leave Tooele Saturday, June (, for Coral Gables, Florida, where he will attend summer school at the University of Miami. Fred, a senior at Tooele High School has been granted a scholarship for this study by the National Science Foundation. Thirty students, from a field of 500, were selected from throughout the United States. The scholarships are given by the Foundation for the purpose of increasing interest in mathematics and science among high school students. The retriever demonstrated on Thursday will be shipped from the depot to Jefferson Proving Ground in Indiana. An additional two units are being rushed to completion at the depot for use in other Army ammunition test areas. Adams, Wilbur's sister, of her 50th year pin, as a member of the Eastern Star. The presentation . was made by her brother Harry in the Masonic Temple at Tempe.
