ORAN MULLER, Sandra and Mabel Dawn, returned Wednesday from Philmont Scout Ranch at Cimarron, New Mexico, where they had attended a conference on Scouting in the LDS Church, they were gone a week and also visited the United States A:r Force Academy at Colorado Springs, the Royal Gorge, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo which was established in memory of Mill Roger. E. Peterson of Babbitt, Nevada. MISS IILLENE UILCOX returned home Sunday after spending 16 days sightseeing and visiting. First she visited with a sister, Donna, (Capt. Herschel Stephens and family) at Fort Knox. Hopkinsville. Kentucky. From there she accompanied them to New York, where she bade them farewell, as they were enroute to Germany for three years, where Capt. Stephens has been assigned. After touring New York a few days, she returned by Jet on the 30th of May and then motored on to Golconda, Nevara and on to Madras, Oregon, to visit two other sisters, Faye (the Henry Turnbaughs) and family, and Beverly (the Bill Mangums) and three sons. She vividly described the origin, carat size and coloring of fabulous diamonds and other precious stones. A lovely pink rose corsage was presented to the speaker by the President. Plans for a luau on July 20th to raise money for the club chanty donation are actively underway by the Program Committee under the direction of Mrs. Angelo Karvelas, chairman.
