Tooele County Assessor Wendell Anderson. Motor vehicles jumped in number and value from 6563 valued at $1,423,970 in 1962 to 7,400 in 1963 valued at $1,709,764. Final Clinic Saturday To K O Polio The final clinics of the current K.O. Polio Drive will be held Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Tooele Armory and at 12 noon in the Grantsville High e room. School This will be the last of the three clinics and Tooele County residents will have the opportunity to take the Type II Sabin Oral Polio Vaccine on the familiar sugar cube. Unless more care is exercised by riders and others using Settlement Canyon, the privilege of public access to the fenced area may be denied, so states officials of the Settlement Canyon Cattle Association. People using the area are not shutting the gates and even cutting the fence, in order to go through, and are thus allowing the cattle to come out of the canyon and inflict damage on private property in Tooele City, so reports Association officials. The Cattle Association, which controls most of the Settlement Canyon area and use it for grazing purposes, raise no objection to riders and others trespassing on their land, but to permit the cattle to leave the fenced areas through not closing gates and even cutting fences, is a practice which will lead to a curtailment of the privilege of entering the area, the Association officials emphasize. the new Middle Canyon camp ground. are still underNegotiations way to secure the necessary right of way for connecting the Middle Canyon Road and the Salt Lake Valley over the top of the mountain. Money is needed to operate the extensive training program, camps unit activities, advancement program and administrative program that is associated with Scouting.
